Colorado Mesa University is committed to promoting a mental health-focused culture throughout campus. A major component of mental health is emotional wellness, or the ability to successfully handle life’s stresses and create fulfilling relationships. It is important to note that emotional wellness is not the absence of mental illness or the elimination of stressors from one’s life, but rather a life-long process.
