Students in the Center for Teacher Education (CTE) complete three phases on their path to becoming licensed teachers:
- Apply to the CTE Program after completing introductory education coursework, typically near the end of the sophomore year.
- Apply to Student Teaching after completing required observation and methods courses.
- Apply for Teacher Licensure as you approach graduation.
Our resource pages provide detailed information about each step, and CTE staff and faculty are here to support you throughout the process.
