Welcome to CMU! I’m Anna Salazar, an IRIS Advisor.
In 2020, I earned my B.S. in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University, becoming the first in my family to attend and graduate college.
My journey in education has led me to work in several departments including Special Education and ESL (English as a Second Language). I’ve always had a strong passion for supporting and inspiring students to reach their full potential, and I’m thrilled to continue doing just that here at CMU!
In my personal time, I love to travel and experience different cultures. London, England is my favorite city of all. When I’m not traveling, I find joy in reading and admiring the beauty of clouds.
Fun fact: Spanish is my first language.
