Crystal Wagner is an American interdisciplinary artist known for her large-scale, site-specific installations that merge sculpture, printmaking, and immersive environments. Her work explores the intersection between the natural and the synthetic, transforming everyday materials like paper and fabric into organic, flowing structures that evoke growth, ecology, and biological systems. A graduate of the University of Tennessee (MFA, 2008), Wagner’s practice reflects a fascination with natural forms and the human impulse to recreate them, resulting in monumental pieces that appear to grow from architecture itself. Her installations have been commissioned internationally for institutions and brands including Nike, Viacom, and Warner Brothers, Toyota, and she continues to expand her work through projects that celebrate the wonder and complexity of living systems. She is a recipient of the highly coveted Pollock-Krasner Grant
