She has worked extensively with patient with neurologic injuries and is especially passionate about providing holistic care in the intensive care unit.
Dr. Mangan loves guiding students through the process of learning, not just what to think, but how to think. She enjoys helping them break down complex performance challenges, make sense of what they’re seeing, and build confidence in their own clinical judgment. Her favorite moments in teaching are when students start to trust themselves and find their own voice. She believes the most effective care comes from integrating evidence-based medicine and creative problem solving, and she’s passionate about helping students to apply both in their clinical practice.
Outside the classroom and hospital, you can find her exploring local restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her family.
