As an OT practitioner in the valley for the past 10 years, Johanna Bardo is excited to bring her clinical experience to the masters program in OT at CMU as an adjunct professor.
Bardo's background and interest in neurological rehabilitation translate well to the Older Adults: Practice and Theory series of courses that she has assisted with instructing at CMU. She brings OT principles of addressing the whole person and taking an active/kinesthetic approach to learning into the classroom. Bardo is passionate about the role of OT in community health and expanding global connections among OT practitioners to promote support and awareness among OTPs experience a wide range of populations, resources, and environments.
Bardo likes to balance her professional life with time outdoors with her dog, Juno. She enjoys skiing, practicing yoga and exploring the beautiful trails and rivers that Colorado has to offer!
