Ruth Lewis is the AAS Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor on the Montrose Campus. She upholds Caring Science principles in her teaching pedagogy and nursing practice, emphasizing a co-learning atmosphere with her students and patients. She obtained her BSN in 2016 and MSN in 2022, both from the University of Wyoming. She will graduate with her PhD in Nursing from CU Anschutz in 2027. Her nursing experiencing includes rural patient care areas such as family care, labor and delivery, pediatrics, level II nursery, and surgical services. When she's not teaching, she enjoys painting and spending time in the mountains.
